Pros and cons of Today - Task Manager app for iPhone and iPad

Today - Task Manager app good for

I had installed this, then tried other todo apps and have come back to it because its simple and elegant design achieve the effectiveness so many todo apps miss. Powerful new features are promised by the developers that will take this app to the next level. It is a bargain at $2. Enjoy it!
Im waiting for the new update so I can syn with my MacBook. And the push notify would be awesome too.
I have tried all the main todo apps - I am somewhat embarrassed to admit - and this is the one I like best. The process of entering or editing tasks is ingenious and efficient and if you dont feel like doing a lot of typing with your thumbs you can use a browser on your computer - likewise a fast and seamless process. It has, in this latest version, everything I need and nothing I dont. If the developers want to add something, it has occurred to me that seasonal themes might be nice, e.g. in winter a user could select a winter theme. But I really hope they will resist pressure to keep adding features. The relative simplicity of the app is part of its efficiency and beauty. Because last but not least, the thing just makes me feel good - something I never expected from a todo app.
This is BY FAR my favourite app. Its beautiful, functional and easy to use. I love it so much, that I actually look for things to add, just so I can play with it. Its the first thing I look at every morning... its like a fresh breath of air to start the day!!! Thanks for such a wonderful app!!
Ive left this app to go to a more "full featured" app and have now come back to it because it is the most useful and effective as it actually gets used instead of "played with". While there are a few features I think would be great - Search, Notes and archiving, the Devs are extremely responsive and are always looking for meaningful improvement without compromising the wonderful UI. They always respond to suggestions and questions. This app is simply a joy to use. Very stable and effective at getting you to apply some focus to your tasks. The implementations of multiple lists, repeating tasks, etc. are stellar. Probably the fastest app around for task entry - Turn your iphone horizontal and start typing, thats it!
Besides email and phone this is the most used App on my iPhone. After using this for more than a year I am still pleased by how simple yet useful it is. The guys at Speilhaus have listened to my comments and made several improvments based on those comments. Great App!

Some bad moments

Good interface, but iPhone must be on-line and cant be used while todo items are input from PC. I hope better sync method for actual use.
Today To-Do hits the sweet spot for task management on my iPod Touch. The array of features is superb, including categories, manual sorting, a beautiful and intuitive interface, ability to backup data, complete independence of the cloud, and capacity to edit data through a web browser. Furthermore, this elegant, cheerful app doesn’t make the mistake of going overboard with feature bloat. For a task management app, I find myself tempted to either (1) completely avoid using it because it’s ugly or fails to adapt to my individual workflow or (2) spend way too much time fiddling with tags and what-not, working on the to-do list rather than actually working on the tasks. Today To-Do is perfectly right for me. I have tried many, many to-do apps on the iTunes store and *none* of them is as good. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Updates appear to occur regularly and steadily, but monthly. This means that some features I’ve requested -- such as the option to copy (rather than move) tasks, flexible recurring intervals, more detailed access to past dates, and quicker responsiveness to enter sorting mode -- remain in the queue because I’ve owned the app for only a few weeks. Still, I’m highly encouraged by the developer’s prompt, professional communications, as well as by other reviews indicating that he is responsive and continually improves this app. If the features I mentioned above are essential to you, definitely give this app a whirl. After a few tweaks, this is the ideal tool to pursue goals and habits in the fashion recommended by authors such as Zig Ziglar and Peter Bregman (18 Minutes).
After going through what seemed like every horrible task list available, I came across this one, and its the best by far. Its cute, its easy and very simple. You have the option to make separate lists or categories of tasks, to make repeatable tasks, give them priority colors, set specific times and dates, set alarms, view old or past tasks and set tasks with no specific date in mind. All very easy to learn and there are extensive instructions found within the app. Best app Ive ever bought! Update: If developer reads this, it would be nice to be able to edit or delete the "Default" list name. It gets a bit annoying having to select a list every time when most of my tasks fall under the "Work" category I use and would be convenient to set the "Work" as default unless I change it.
This is a great app and is designed really well, but please fix bugs! It crashes a lot and gets stuck.
After searching thru apps , found this to be the best ever! Use daily! Set appts for next year!
Well thought-out! I cant wait to see what the next update brings!!
